Pivot Dance Center welcomes dedicated dancers ages 6 through high school seniors to audition for our Legend Dance Company. Company dancers receive advanced training, performance opportunities, and the experience of being part of a supportive and driven team environment.
There are three convenient ways to audition!
- In-Person Audition
- Video Audition
- Private Audition
All audition methods require a $25 audition fee.
Audition deadline: July 1, 2026
Results will be sent the week of June 22 or within 48 hours of submission, whichever is later.
Summer Intensive Requirement
All dancers selected for the company must be available to attend our mandatory Summer Intensive from July 6 to July 10.
How To Audition
Date: Saturday, April 25, 2026
Time: 2:00p – 3:30p
Location: Pivot Dance Center
Dancers should arrive early to warm up and check in.
Please bring:
– One 8×10 headshot
– Water
– DANCE ATTIRE?
Results for in-person auditions will be sent on June 22, 2026.
If you are unable to attend in person, you may submit a video audition.
Video Requirements
Introduction (beginning of video):
– Name
– Age
– How long you have been dancing
Dance Portion:
- Choose TWO different styles from the list below and submit one minute of choreography for each style:
- Contemporary
- Hip Hop
- Lyrical
- Jazz
This should result in two one-minute clips (about two minutes total of dancing).
Outro (end of video):
Please briefly share:
– Why you want to dance at Pivot Dance Center
– Your goals as a dancer
– Your favorite thing about being part of a team
– Your biggest strengths and areas of opportunities in dance

Private auditions may be arranged for dancers who cannot attend the scheduled audition date.
To schedule a private auditions, call or email the studio to meet with the director.
Results will be sent within 48 hours of the audition.
